The AFFORDABLE Energy Master is a microprocessor based intelligent heating control system, researched and developed to provide correct temperature management with minimised fuel burn. It replaces traditional, inaccurate room thermostats and programmers.

The AFFORDABLE Energy Master is self educating and fully automatic. It uses state-of-the-art fuzzy logic techniques to achieve exceptionally close temperature control.

Works by temperature as well as time

Energy master functions:

• OPTIMUM START/STOP - This eliminates fixed start time for boiler firing. Instead, a start time is calculated to take into account prevailing weather conditions, preventing fuel waste. AFFORDABLE Energy Master optimises off by allowing temperature to fall deg C just before a set reduction. Just this one function alone can save 15% of fuel burn.
• 2ND GENERATION WEATHER COMPENSATION - This eliminates the need for an outdoor sensor, which cannot allow for wind chill factor. AFFORDABLE Energy Master monitors and memorises the speed of temperature response in your home when heating is switched on and off. This data is used in a self-educating process which produces stable chosen temperatures by adapting switching patterns to fluctuating thermal conditions.
• 30 BUILT-IN LIFESTYLE PLANS - Choice of pre-installed central heating and hot water programmes, suitable for varying occupancy needs.
• 3 PERSONAL PLANS - Each can be custom-designed to suit any lifestyle. Every of the week, eight time and temperature set points can be programmed. All personal plans remain in memory, with manual override always available.
• BOILER CYCLING PREVENTION - Dry cycling of the boiler - a wasteful process caused by inaccurate temperature control - is eliminated by the AFFORDABLE Energy Master. Yet another energy saving.
• FROST PROTECTION - AFFORDABLE Energy Master will always monitor falling temperature and fire the boiler in time to prevent frost damage.
• HOT WATER CONTROL - Choice of up to four timed on periods per day, with cancellable one-hour boost at any time.
• ADDITIONAL FEATURES - AFFORDABLE Energy Master also offers Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature display, special holiday‟ plans and fuel monitoring all easily read on the crisp, backlit LCD display.
